Life in a Manhole

    MANHOLE OR DEATH HOLE

MANHOLE

Who we are?

Welcome to the new world where we are always saying to our community about equality, no one is above by their last name no one has the right to compare any individual to any other individual,
but it's real or imaginary think, thinking by us every day.
maybe its a myth about the world how always said that every person is equal, it does not matter in real life or in the present life because of we all yes we all, we ever thought about those persons who enter in the manhole every day, maybe yes and also maybe no, because how much time we spend on thinking for them?
Do we have to think for them also because of they also part of our community
part of our daily life, because without them who we are how we are what we are?

SOLDIER = SEWER MAN

ratio
SOLDIER DEATH

YES, our soldier how fighting with terrorists every day with all safety equipment but some time face martyr, and we feel proud for them and we have to,
but when a sewer man how to get their death?
they get it without any safety equipment and any other safety emergency help  and most of them die when they doing their job in the manhole and we don't feel proud for them even we can't discuss them because they are not so important in our lives, they never get appreciated by us, also our government don't give them any awards.
the soldier and the sewer man they both are brave but we all with one side but not with others but we still thought every one equal.
how many sewer men dead
According to the South Asia Terrorism Portal, which keeps tabs on terrorism-related casualties, 411 security personnel died in J&K between 2010 and Aug. 27, 2017. This means that since 2010, the insurgency in Kashmir has claimed, on average, 51 men in uniform every year.
Magsaysay award-winner Bezwada Wilson’s Safai Karmachari Andolan has been collecting data on those who dive into putrid sewer lines only to be tragically fished out as corpses. Since 2010, there have been 356 such deaths, or about 44 every year.
This annual average has already been outstripped in 2017—India’s sewage system has killed 90 people so far. By contrast, 54 security personnel died combating militants.

MANHOLE DEATH

Then again, former defence minister Manohar Parrikar, in his reply to a parliamentary question in 2015, said that a total of 171 army personnel were “martyred” fighting terrorists between 2012 and 2014 countrywide. In the same period, a total of 142 sewer workers died.

SUPREME COURT VERDICT

The Safai Karmachari Andolan’s data show at a low rate but the true story is left behind it because, for one, it's only cover for 21 states and union territories not for all 36, and this data collecting from 2014.REALITY OF MANHOLE
That year, the supreme court passed strictures against the governments, both for central and state for sending sewer workers into the manhole without any type of safety, and decide to ban it but on the emergency situation who workers working in a manhole where die than compensate the survivors 10rs each.
the Andolan’s volunteers entered a death into the datasheet only after securing a death certificate and post-mortem report of the deceased. Anecdotal accounts, obviously, did not pass muster. The database records deaths since 1987.

REALITY OF SWATCH BHARAT ABHIYAN

reality of sewer

according to data collected by top NGO which worker for the rights of sanitation workers.
the NGO safai karamchari andolan said that 221 workers die in manhole since 2017.
As per the NGO estimates, a total of 1,760 sanitation workers have died since 1993. This data is based on information collected by the NGO from only 16 states and Union Territories (UTs).
The Modi government plans to spend over Rs 50,000 crore on its Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Scheme. The scheme aims to make our villages open defecation free by building 9 crore toilets in rural household.
While the government claims to have already build more than 8 crore toilets across the country, the scheme has no budgetary provision for the safety of sanitation workers. Around 8 lakh sanitation workers are employed to unclog our sewers but data about them is hardly available.
the central government politicians and state government politicians,
only pretend for closeness but not do in real.

We have to do.

So we have to take a step for them and make the world equal in real not in books or in fairy tail.
RISE OUR VOICE EVEN IS TOO LATE

  1. Badiya likha hai or sach bhi or yebhi sach hai ki koi bhi badi jaati ka insan gatar saaf karne ki nokri ke liye dalit ko ye nhi kehta ki sari nokriyan dalit ko milti hai or use bhi gatar saaf karne ki nokri chahiye. Ajeeb baat hai. Pr samaj aise hi bata hua hai or hr sukh milne wali chiz ke liye to sb ladte hain pr koi bhi sukh dene ke liye nhi ladta. Jaise amrit to devi ko bhi chahiye tha or rakshado ko bhi pr koi vish nhi mangta tha.
